Everything is thrown at you in the remake, and as you lay on the ground gasping for oxygen, the kitchen sink flies directly toward your skull.

Without considering what to substitute them with, the sequel to Resident Evil 4 does away with many of the elements that contributed to making the original so great. Without a doubt, the reboot of Resident Evil 4 enhances the original in several aspects.
But the true issue here is a phenomenon like that smoothing out. Even while Resident Evil 4 could rank among the best video games ever developed, it also seems wildly uneven in several areas, and this remake appears to have been designed to smooth out those sharp edges and spikes.
From beginning to end, it seems like a much simpler experience than the original. With a few noteworthy exceptions, it recreates the unexpected elements of the classic in novel manners without ever quite stunning you sufficiently with how it does it because it lacks these bizarre diversions and one-offs.
